Solutions
EU: Signal Control Messages - Mobile Internet (X.509)
US: SAE Signal Control Messages - Mobile Internet (US)
Solution Description
This solution is used within the U.S.. It combines standards associated with US: SAE Signal Control Messages with those for I-M: Mobile Internet (US). The US: SAE Signal Control Messages standards include upper-layer standards required to implement signal control information flows. The I-M: Mobile Internet (US) standards include lower-layer standards that support secure communications between two entities, either or both of which may be actively moving; based on X.509 or IEEE 1609.2 certificates. A non-mobile (if any) endpoint may connect to the wide-area-wireless service provider using any Intneret connection method.
