Center to Map Update System: map update notification
Flow Description
Notification of maintenance, construction, and other activities that will result in medium to long term changes to road location and configuration that may impact navigable maps. This flow includes the timing of the changes and precise enumeration of the location and configuration changes. Tt also includes updated static speed limits (perhaps other regulatory rules/signage - no U turns, etc) and default travel times.

Solution Description
This solution is used within the U.S., E.U., and Australia. It combines standards associated with (None-Data) with those for I-I: Internet (X.509). The (None-Data) standards include an unspecified set of standards at the upper layers. The I-I: Internet (X.509) standards include lower-layer standards that support secure communications between ITS equipment using mainstream Internet security standards (X.509).
